This year, the conference focused on Strengthening Health Care Delivery Systems; and included speakers working on all aspects of fistula programmes, as well as women whose lives had gone through a metamorphosis following fistula treatment. In order to respond to the growing need for information, each day of the conference covered topics relating to aspects of prevention, access, management and care of the fistula patient.
