Fistula Treatment Camp in Kisii, Kenya

WAHA International in collaboration with AMREF organised a fistula camp in Kisii District, Kenya.

Kisii district is located 350km from Nairobi, close to the Tanzanian border.
The Kisii level 5 Hospital was created in 1916 and has a capacity of 380 beds. Even though it is a clean, well organized hospital, there is a lack of equipment for obstetric services.
There are between 500 and 600 babies delivered at this hospital every month.
